Minoti, which will open its brand new store in the shopping centre’s Chestergate mall on Sunday, 28 August, will see the creation of six jobs for Macclesfield and will house fashionable clothing and accessories for babies and children up to the age of eight.

To celebrate, Minoti will be hosting an in-store event, where parents and their children can enjoy free face painting and temporary tattoos, as well as a visit from a special guest. Shoppers will also be able to take advantage of exclusive offers between 10am and 4pm.

Manager of the new Macclesfield store, Louise Butler, said she is excited to host the opening celebrations on Sunday. “We are absolutely delighted to be the newest addition to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre,” she said. “This is the first Minoti store to open in Cheshire, so we have been working really hard to get everything ready and now we can’t wait to introduce Minoti to Macclesfield shoppers.

“Throughout the day we will be having lots of fun in store. Alongside our face painting and temporary tattoos, we will also have a Minion roaming around the Chestergate part of the centre, entertaining youngsters and taking photos with those coming in and out of the shop. Plus, parents will be to enjoy a £5 discount when they spend £30 or more on anything in store.”

Grosvenor Shopping Centre manager, Ed Kennedy, said he is pleased that the new store will be open to shoppers on Sunday. “With the recent announcement of our expansion it is an exciting time for Grosvenor,” he said. “Minoti is the first store to open since the plans have gotten underway and we’re looking forward to seeing the people of Macclesfield join in the celebrations.

“I am sure our shoppers will enjoy the exciting new addition and we wish the team the best of luck with the grand opening.”
